Privacy Policy

Short version: You sign in with an email link. Your training log and free sessions stay on that account. Settings and the Year Pass stay on this device. We send your license key to Lemon Squeezy to check the pass. Our host counts anonymous page visits.

1. Who is responsible

Tabatame, contact tabatame.app@gmail.com. For payments, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and is responsible for the data it collects at checkout.

2. Data that stays on your device

Stored in your browser's local storage, never sent to us:

  • Workout settings (intervals, rounds, warm-up, cool-down, sound, coach voice)
  • Language and theme
  • Whether you accepted the health disclaimer
  • Your Year Pass record: license key, device activation ID, status, expiry date and last check time
  • A free year earned from a public post, and the post links used to claim it

You can export your history as CSV. Clearing site data in your browser removes what is stored on that device. It does not delete your account, and it does not free a device slot. Use "Remove pass from this device" first if you want to free a slot.

The price shown to you is chosen on your device from your browser language and time zone. This is not sent anywhere.

3. Data on your account

When you sign in, we store:

  • Your email address
  • Your training log, up to 200 sessions: date, time, rounds, work and rest
  • How many free sessions you have finished, and whether a bonus was claimed
  • The public post link, if you are signed in when you claim that free year

Free sessions use this account. A Year Pass on this device does not require one. The log is also kept in this browser. If a sync does not finish, that copy stays on the device until the next sign-in. Signing in on another device brings the log with you. Deleting a session or clearing history in the app deletes it from the account too.

4. Data sent to Lemon Squeezy

  • License checks: when you activate, check or remove your pass, the app sends your license key, the device activation ID and a device label like "Tabatame web ab12cd" to the Lemon Squeezy License API (api.lemonsqueezy.com). This happens when you activate, then about once a day when you are online.
  • Checkout: when you tap Buy, you go to Lemon Squeezy's hosted checkout. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email, payment details and billing country to process the payment, taxes, receipts and refunds. We see your order (name, email, country, amount) in the Lemon Squeezy dashboard. We use it only to support you and handle refunds. 5. Data our host collects

Tabatame is hosted by Lovable. The host adds a small analytics script to the site that counts page visits and measures page speed. It sets a random "session-id" cookie that expires after 30 minutes, and records the page, referrer, browser type, language and an approximate country based on your time zone. We use this only to see how many people visit and whether pages load well. It is not used for ads. Like any web server, the host also processes your IP address to deliver the site.

6. Email

If you email us, we use your email and message only to answer you. We keep support emails for up to 2 years, then delete them, unless we need them for a legal reason (for example a refund record).

7. What we do not do

No ads, no selling of data, no tracking across other sites, and no data from minors knowingly collected beyond the above.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (in practice, your account, support emails, and your order in Lemon Squeezy). Email tabatame.app@gmail.com. For payment data, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy. If you are in the EU or UK you can complain to your data protection authority. In Israel, you can contact the Privacy Protection Authority.

9. Changes

We will update this page if data flows change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
